After passing leadership of my company Innova to the next generation, I’ve spent the past decade dividing my time between various leadership roles, and exchanging money for time. Time to spend with my family, friends and for my other passions.
I hope I now have the experience to have a bigger impact over the next 30 years, than the last 30. That is why I created Livebigger. I’m thrilled to be on this new adventure with you!
This, briefly, is how I got here.…
Childhood
You get your skillset at school but you get your mindset at home. Fortunately, my early years were guided by powerful role models that laid the foundations for Livebigger’s habits 1, 2 & 3.
My dad was a family doctor, and the embodiment of commitment and passion in work, and resilience in adversity.
My mother was a special needs teacher, who put her role as mother before anything else - and gave me a strong foundation for everything. She taught me that nothing mattered more than always giving my absolute best.
My grandmother and aunt co-founded and led the Black Sash in South Africa, a cornerstone of the anti-apartheid movement. From them and my parents, I learned the power of living a life of purpose and contribution.
Personal and Family
Wherever I focused, my life was great. Over the years, I learned to apply the habits across all 7 spheres of my life so that I give my best to everything that matters.
Two wonderful sons, 29 and 27 from my first marriage. Deep thanks to my ex-wife.
A 5-year-old son and a wonderful fiancée - a life coach whose wisdom has been instrumental in shaping Livebigger.
Several passions, from blues piano, singing and dancing, to snowboarding and yacht racing.
Amazing friends – love, growth and sheer fun!

I became Type 1 diabetic at 35 and I’m in great shape today because of it (not in spite of it).
